Currently, we are half way through the process of recording our second record. Each day, we brave the long walk through the bitter cold to the west side of Manhattan and carefully etch out our new future bit by bit. We're cutting a Winter record for an early Summer release.

stellastarr* will be writing and recording their second record throughout the Fall and Winter. There are no shows scheduled at this time. Happy Holidays.

We are pleased to announce that we will be playing a special party at The Roxy in NYC on September 5th. We will go on at 11pm. You can purchase advance tickets at ticketweb.com This will be our LAST SHOW before we go into the studio for the remainder of 2004 to record our second album due out in Spring 2005.

2004-08-10 :: stellastarr* on ABC
On Saturday, August 28 at 11:35pm EST, stellastarr*s performance at Central Park SummerStage will be aired on ABC in NY and the Tri-state Area. This is for “Live From Central Park” - a one hour show airing Saturday nights on ABC this summer – and on August 28th there will be a full hour devoted to the stellastarr* performance as well as an interview with the band.

stellastarr* will be playing a special show at Central Park Summerstage on Friday, July 23rd with Devo and Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Tix go on sale on Saturday, May 1st at 12pm EST at Ticketmaster Get your tix right away as this show will sell out quickly. Doors open at 4pm, stellastarr* will go on at 6 pm, Yeah Yeah Yeahs at 7 pm and Devo at 8:30 pm.
