Okay, this is for all the new boardies who have not been here long and don't interact. Also, somewhat of a rant. Feel free to rant along or go off at me.
If you have just joined for free songs (which seems to be the case with some of you), then you're not very nice people. This is a message board, not a free song outlet. You come here to talk about the band and their music and interact. Not to mooch. Moochers are not very welcome here at all. You are parasitic and unhelpful.
You join a message board to learn about a new band you like, to gush over one you've loved for ages, to get updates on the band, and to share things. Not any one alone, but all of those together. It really is disapointing to see a slew of new members and then to find out that they are all just here for the food (or in this case, free songs).
I, personally, am not going to be sending any live songs or stuff like that to anyone whose posts only consist of requests. I, myself, am a new boardie, but I'm interacting and trying to contribute. I have just been sending the live songs to whoever asks, but now, only if you are a acting member of this board. Not just some moocher who wants new songs.
You want songs? You're going to have to look elsewhere if you fit the above description.

don't tell people what to do.. not everyone is going to post lots and i really don't care if people come mooching.. you took it upon yourself to send out songs to lots of people and i'm sure all are thankful but it's not up to you to lecture or make rules.. if you don't want to send songs to people whose only interaction on the messageboard is asking for free stuff then feel free

No but seriously guys, moochers are annoying. And so are people who come on who constantly post new threads about adverts for bands. And most of the time, i cant stand people who just come on and "brag and slag" whereby they believe they are great, and they tell others off and mock them if they are going to see a gig of a band they dont like, or if they didnt get tickets for something, or if they have this or that new song. Thats what really gets me...

And i know, everyones done it once in a while... everyones said "haha, i got tickets" or "well i got THAT song aaaages ago" or "your a complete fucking prick". But on the whole, this forum is generally nice and clean, so keep it up guys, cos its one reason i stay on this board and don't go to any others. (part from Neils Childrens board, which only consists of about 30 people so that doesnt count)

Now lets all calm down and i'll bang the kettle on for a cuppa...

Well, I personally don't mind people who just read and don't post a lot. I have occasions where I just don't have time to come up with witty reposts like the rest of ya's.

As for the song thing, anyone who asks has done enough for me. It's not like this board is full of people who are constantly trying to get songs off you. I certainly haven't foudn it like that. xx
