Bloated wife.

Made me cry the other day. I listened once, it prickled my scalp. Listened again and sung along, tears started. Funny thing is I have no idea why because I have no clue what exactly the lyrics mean. I'm kind of obsessed with the song now, listening to it a lot, trying to find out why it GOT to me so much.

Has this ever happened to anyone else with ANY song? Any insights at all?

Regardless, this is rare and welcome. Kudos, stellastarr*, for making me feel more inside.

It doesn't neccessarily make me cry but "on my own" hits home for me.

If it is then the words make more sense now.

I wish I hadn't read that though because I could apply a lot of the song to a personal experience, but knowing it doesn't really relate to anything like that spoils it a bit.

and I will add that i don't think stellastarr do "joke songs". I guess the closest they come is Pulp Song.

The meaning of the song might not be a joke but the song title and opening lines feel comedic...

It's one of my favorite ss* songs. I love singing to it. Especially "makes a fool out of cancer!". Ah, hehe, it's fun.

I don't claim to know what the song is about, but that is not one of the possibilities I had considered. Not that you might not be right.
