last month, popscene in san francisco had listed stellastarr* in their upcoming listings for july 21. but now the listing is gone! some band called the shout out louds are playing instead. this is infinitely disappointing. does anyone know what happened?

Dunno about Popscene - (although I have seen the Shout Out Louds open for Broken Social Scene, who were opening for The Futureheads at Slims a couple of months ago....they were kinda fun.

Anyway - just saw SS* listed to play The Independent on Sept. 23 - tickets go on sale Sunday at 10 am.

Wondering if they will do another swing through as I will be outta town that date ........anyone know?

Holy crap! I'm definitely going to that Independent date. Sad they won't be at Popscene, but hopefully they'll hit it while they're up there.
