as its ma first day i was jus wondering. if any1 caught the nme awards on the TV? dont u think pete n carl should be voted the greatest britains ever? nothin like a bit of cockney charm.

BUT i was watchin and i was thinking, hold up.... so ur sayin that kings of leon are better than the strokes????? i cant believe that in the year room on fire was released they didnt get any awards from NME!!!!

plus what the hell was kelly osbourne doing there!!!! noone likes you stupid little bee..

As for the NME awards, unfortunately for us on the other side of the ocean, we don't get to see them! So what else happened at the awards?

picking up an award for her wreck of a father, doing a nice thing instead of being a spoiled little ass as usual

and no, the kings of leon are better than no one, never been so bored by an album for a long time before that one came out. They should get the most retardedly boring newcomer award if anything

The Kings Of Leon album was one of the best of the year, without a doubt. I hadn't listened to it in ages and put it on the other day - I'd forgotten just how fantastic it was. The Strokes album is better though, in my opinion.

the awards were better than last year i think. no nick jago wastin 15 mins of my viewing pleasure. did any1 notice how har mar was desperatly trying to get off with brody. i mean dude! josh is sittin right there. har mar or josh in a fight??? hard question. anyway BRODYS MINE!!!!

the best thing of the whole night was the fact that the darkness won no awards. i say that but they actually won :

worst dressed
worst haircut

on the kings of leon point, they deserved best newcomer but no best international. but lookin at the other competitors it wasnt that bad.
